'We have not beaten this pandemic': Tammy Baldwin votes to pass American Rescue Plan
MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Wisconsin Senator Tammy Baldwin voted to pass the American Rescue Plan in the Senate with vowed support for Wisconsin on Saturday, March 6.
"We have not beaten this pandemic and people are still struggling in Wisconsin," Baldwin said in a statement. "I have supported taking bold legislative action to provide help to Wisconsin families, schools, workers and small businesses and now we are providing that help. The American Rescue Plan is the support Wisconsin needs right now to help us get past this public health crisis and move our economy forward."
We got knocked down and we haven’t beaten this pandemic, but today we are going to pass the #AmericanRescuePlan to deliver Wisconsin the help and support we need to get past #COVID19 and move our economy forward.
