Saturday Midday Update: Winter Weather Advisory extended throughout Saturday
Saturday Midday Update
We now have a Winter Weather Advisory taking us into the evening for most of the viewing area. Fond du Lac and Sheboygan Counties are not included. An additional inch or two can be expected along with blowing and drifting snow. Please drive with caution. Don't expect above freezing temps for at least a week. Another bout of light snow is possible Sunday afternoon too.

Saturday Mid-morning Update...
Looks like the heaviest banding has shifted south of I-94. Roads are not in great shape at all. They're either partially or covered with snow. Another batch of snow is expected later in the day into the early evening. This will slicken up the roadways again. Please use extreme caution when traveling this week. There's one more band Sunday afternoon into the evening. Then the Arctic air intrudes! Wind chill numbers around -20 into Monday, MLK Day.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--After getting teases with some warmth this past week (54 degrees on Tuesday), winter holds strong for at least the next week. Look for lots of teens and 20s for highs! Plus we'll be dealing with a bunch of clipper systems keeping the snow chances going. Sunday afternoon, late Tuesday into Wednesday, and late in the week appear to be the best chances for snow. Also, keep in mind we have a Winter Weather Advisory until 9 AM Saturday for much of the viewing area, including the metro spots. Watch for hazardous traveling conditions. Snow on Saturday should pause during the day before picking back up later in the afternoon into Saturday evening. Meantime...watch the roads Saturday morning. Many are slick and snow-covered...
Been snowing along I-94 all night long...
A few different clippers will give us this total amount into next week...
Say goodbye to what we saw this past week in terms of temps...
Dangerous chills setting up...
