MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's not an easy job but Wisconsin's Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) launched a campaign to raise enthusiasm for mask mandates and other virus protection measures.
The initiative is called "We're All In." You've probably heard that phrase on advertisements and public service announcements. WEDC brought the campaign to five cities across the state Wednesday, Aug. 5, including Milwaukee.
The message is pretty simple.
"At the end of the day, all we're saying is we need to promote as leaders, as businesses, that it's cool to do these things. It's cool to wear a mask. It's cool to tell your neighbors, hey, let's keep a couple feet apart," said Sam Rikkers, COO, Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.
WEDC leaders met with business and local government leaders Wednesday, to talk about how they can be "all in" on keeping their communities safe from coronavirus.
