MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Deer District outside of Fiserv Forum will be the place to be Saturday, May 22. The Bucks take on the Miami Heat in their first playoff game at 1 p.m.

"We are starting to return a little bit to a sense of normalcy. We’ll have some differences, certainly, when fans come down here, but it’s going to feel a lot like, or start to look a lot like, it did two years ago in that long playoff run," said Dustin Godsey, Chief Marketing Officer for the Milwaukee Bucks.

"We’ll get a real energy inside with fans again," said Godsey.

Outside, they'll have capacity for about 3,500 people.

"Deer District is really going to be that gathering place again," said Godsey.

For two hours before the game until tip off, the plaza will be open to those with tickets to the game. At tip off, they'll open it up for general fans.

At the Bucks Pro Shop, playoff gear is ready.

"Every year we bring in new playoff products," said Chrysta Jorgensen, Director of Detail for the Milwaukee Bucks.

More gear will come out as the team advances.

"Headwear, novelty, more t-shirts. Typically we bring in long sleeves, but with playoffs beginning the end of May this year we don’t need as many long sleeves."

Masks will be required indoors and outdoors at the Deer District.

Meantime, the city of Milwaukee is alerting drivers to be aware of temporary No Parking Zones throughout the Deer District.

Temporary No Parking areas will be in effect for Saturday and Monday and at future events in the Deer District, per the request of the Bucks.

“NO PARKING – TOW AWAY ZONE” signs will be posted. Vehicles must be moved to ensure safety. All vehicles parked in violation will be ticketed and towed. If your vehicle is towed, call 414-286-2700 for more information.
