WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Agriculture is a big part of Wisconsin culture, from local farmers showing their animals at the fair to dairy and cheese production in the state.

You can see daily milking demonstrations at the Wisconsin State Fair right outside of the Milking Parlor. Cow milking demonstrations are held four times a day at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Goat milking demos are held daily at noon, 2 p.m., and 4 p.m.

We asked Serenity Palmer, an ambassador of Dairy Lane at the Wisconsin State Fair, where does all of the milk from the demonstrations go?

"This milk will go into a vault tank in the parlor, in the milk house, and it gets taken to a local dairy [farm] and made into cheese," said Palmer.
