Where you can ring in the new year in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- There are dozens of parties planned for people to ring in the new year in Milwaukee. 

Potawatomi Hotel and Casino is preparing for more than 1,000 people to attend its New Year's Eve party. 

The party starts at 8 p.m. Prices for the remaining tickets are $49, but go up to $59 on Dec. 31. 

The website Eventbrite, lists many more parties around the area. 

There are several family friendly events as well. 

Betty Brinn Children's Museum will host New Year's Eve at Noon. The celebration there starts at 9 a.m. with a ball drop at noon. 

The Mitchell Park Domes will hold a Family Celebration from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. that will feature live music. 

If you would like to skate in the new year, the rink at Red Arrow Park will be open until 1 a.m.
