MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- It all started with a simple question.

Ahead of the Baha Men's Summerfest performance, CBS 58 Morning News Anchor Alex Corradetti asked band member Dyson Knight whether he had ever heard of Wisconsin's famous Kringle.

The answer was no. CBS 58 then told Knight what a Kringle is and to definitely try one with the rest of the crew while they were here.

Knight then said he would have to try one before leaving Milwaukee.

So, we made it happen.

After the interview, Corradetti connected the band with friends at O&H Danish Bakery, who arranged for a special delivery to the group's hotel.

Video shared by the band shows members opening the package, sampling the sweet treat and getting their first taste of one of Wisconsin's most beloved pastries.

The surprise quickly turned into a memorable moment.

After trying the Kringle, the group put its own spin on its signature song, breaking into a chorus of:

“Who let the Kringle out? Who, who, who, who!”

The playful performance gave the band's biggest hit a Wisconsin twist and created a fun connection between a Summerfest favorite and a beloved local tradition.

The Baha Men told Corradetti, "Unfortunately none of us liked it. WE LOVED THEM!!! So grateful you hooked this up!!! They're delicious! Not too sweet and not too heavy! Just right! Thank goodness the hotel has a gym," said the group.
