MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin is encouraging consumers to write positive reviews for businesses during November, which is recognized as "Thank a Business" month. The aim is to help businesses bolster their credibility and build trust with customers.
Andy Ketchum, vice president of operations for BBB Wisconsin, joined us on Monday, Nov. 4 to chat about the importance of customer reviews in supporting local businesses.
The BBB says that their customer reviews are vetted and verified to ensure authenticity, noting that positive feedback can attract new customers and strengthen a business’s reputation. They encourage consumers to take time this month to thank businesses by sharing their experiences.
The BBB also suggests other ways to show appreciation, such as referring family and friends, engaging on social media, making purchases, leaving generous tips and participating in special promotions or events.
