Wisconsin fall colors to peak in just a couple weeks on Lake Delavan

DELAVAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Wisconsinites don't need to travel far to find a scenic, relaxing place to getaway this autumn. Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan has restaurants, golfing and boat rides through fall. 

"From now until prob mid-October is peak fall weather to really enjoy Wisconsin Tourism. For peak colors, right now we're looking at first and second week of October, but that may change based on weather." said Brandon McConnell, a corporate executive at Delavan Lake Management.

They offer wine tours, architecture tours and even fall colors tours. Out on the water is one of the best places to be surrounded by all of the changing colors. 

Lake Lawn is hosting Family Fall Fest this October. Visitors can stay the night or come play for just one day.
