KENOSHA (CBS58) -- Michael Bell Sr. will be on CBS This Morning and he'll publish an ad in the Washington Post. His son, Michael Bell Jr., 21, was killed in an officer-involved shooting in Kenosha in 2004 during an OWI stop.
The Kenosha Police department claims Bell was reaching for one of the officer's holsters before he was shot. At that time, law enforcement agencies were allowed to investigate their own officer-involved shootings.
It took the department about 2 days to find the shooting justified.
The Washington Post ad demands that Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel and Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley hold a public inquest hearing.
