Wisconsin Humane Society celebrates 145th anniversary

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- 145 years of serving and protecting animals.
This week, the Wisconsin Humane Society is celebrating their 145th anniversary. Founded all the way back in 1879, some of Milwaukee's most famous residents were the first to support WHS' mission.
That includes Samuel Marshall, Founder of M& I Bank. As well as Fredrick Pabst, who had a soft spot for the horses that pulled his beer wagons.
