WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- A peregrine falcon named "Kizzmekia" was brought to the Wisconsin Humane Society two months ago with serious wing and internal injuries.
After two weeks of extensive medical treatment, he returned to the sky Monday, Nov. 1.
First, the Wildlife Rehab Center put him through some flight conditioning to make sure he was ready.
Then, Monday morning, the raptor was taken to a wildlife area near Mukwonago, and there he took off.
He did a nice loop for the camera, almost as if he was showing off his restored skills.
