Wisconsin sees slight uptick in new COVID-19 infections

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- As Wisconsin ramps up its vaccine rollout, there is a slight uptick in new infections.

The state reported 402 new cases Saturday, March 20, which is up from Friday.

However, it did drop the seven-day average to 378, which is one of the lowest numbers it has been since June of last year.

There were 14 new covid-related deaths reported Saturday, which is the highest number of single day deaths since last Wednesday.
