Wisconsin State Fair daily schedule released for 2024 planning

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin State Fair has released its full daily schedule, featuring entertainment acts and special events. The fair runs from Aug. 1 to Aug. 11, with each day having a unique theme.

Thursday, Aug. 1 marks the kick-off with Piggly Wiggly $5 Day, offering discounted admission. Other highlights include the Cream Puff Lovin' Celebration on Saturday, Aug. 10.

Fairgoers can also plan for what to eat and drink for the Sporkies and Drinkies competitions, as well as typical fair fare like agricultural exhibitions and attractions where some early planning might allow maximizing time spent at the fair.
