Milwaukee County Election Commission employee tests positive for coronavirus

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A total of 155 positive cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Wisconsin, according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) on Thursday, March 19 -- including an employee with the Milwaukee County Election Commission

That's up from 106 cases one day earlier.

Thursday afternoon, new cases were reported in Milwaukee County.

A Milwaukee County Election Commission employee tested positive for COVID-19. Health officials said she was on vacation and did not come into contact with staff, commission, or other people at courthouse. She's at home recovering.

There was another report on Thursday stating, one individual in Greendale tested positive for COVID-19. They have also remained in quarantine since returning from recent international travel. 

According to DHS, a total of 2,192 tests have come back negative.
