MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- An organization giving a voice to the voiceless is celebrating its work across the state tonight.
Wisconsin Voices is a non-profit focused on empowering communities and protecting democracy.
"We try our hardest to make sure that we focus on the buyback community, and it's not just in Milwaukee, it's Wisconsin. That's why we are Wisconsin Voices, and we want to make sure that the people in Wisconsin that we serve are heard," said Tomika Vukovic of Wisconsin Voices.
Our own Tajma Hall serving as the organization's emcee for its gala tonight at the Bavarian Haus in Glendale.
The gala included an awards ceremony, dinner and a silent auction to raise money so Wisconsin Voices can continue its work.
