Woman in Oneida Co. Jail, accused of trying to hire hit man to kill her husband
RHINELANDER, Wis. (WSAW) -- A 27-year-old woman is in the Oneida County Jail after she's accused of trying to hire a hit man to have her husband killed.
Megan Danielczak was arrested in Tomahawk for solicitation to commit First Degree Intentional Homicide. According to a news release from Rhinelander Police, Danielczak met with an undercover agent from the Wisconsin Department of Justice - Division of Criminal Investigations Wednesday. Police said she made a down payment to the agent, who was posing as a hit man, with the understanding that the agent would kill Danielczak's husband soon. Once she was informed of his death, she would pay the remaining balance.
Danielczak is due in court Friday. That's when more information is expected to be released.
