Woman rescued from Fond du Lac River

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Thursday afternoon Fond du Lac Fire Rescue was called to 12th Street over the Fond du Lac for a report of a person in the water.
When crews arrived they put on cold water rescue suits and went into the water and attached a rope around the woman so they could get her out of the water and up a snow covered riverbank.
The victim was treated and released.
Fond du Lac Fire Chief Peter O'Leary said the victim was yelling for help and alert neighbors kept the victim stable while others called 911.
