Racine's Zoo Beach ready to make waves, opening guarded beach season 🏖️

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Racine’s Zoo Park has announced plans to open for its guarded beach season. The park will officially open on Saturday, June 10 at 9 a.m.

Following the city's guidelines, the first five rules for guests include: maintaining appropriate noise levels, refraining from feeding the animals, respecting park boundaries, depositing trash in designated bins and keeping dogs on a leash.

Further, the park's administration has outlined additional rules focused on the park and beach area.

These include a prohibition on open fires, no littering or leaving trash behind, no alcohol or glass containers, bans on swimming outside the designated zones and a strict no pet policy within the beach area.
