CALEDONIA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One person is dead after structure a fire in Caledonia on Sunday, April 6. 

It happened near Nicholson and 7 Mile around 3 a.m.

According to the Caledonia Fire Department, upon arrival, they found a fully engulfed barn. While working to put out the fire, they located a deceased individual inside. 

Family members identified the victim as Jeff Smith. The family started a GoFundMe for a memorial service and to repair damage caused by the fire.

A local restaurant, South Bound Again, which is located not far from the incident, is also stepping up to support the family. The restaurant says they will donate 10% of all sales from this Tuesday through April 13th directly to the Smith's family, calling it an unbelievable tragedy.

"I think that now more than ever in this world, everybody should be helping each other out," said Joy Paul who works at South Bound Again.

No firefighters were injured. 

The fire is under investigation.
