KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One person has died and two others are injured after a three-vehicle crash in the Town of Brighton Thursday, Jan. 22. 

It happened around 4 p.m., according to Kansasville Fire & Rescue Department, in the 2400 block of County Highway BD. 

Officials say one driver was taken by ambulance to a Kenosha hospital, another was taken by Flight for Life to Froedtert in Wauwatosa, and a third driver was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Kenosha County's MCAT team is investigating the cause of the crash. 

The fire department says this was the second three-vehicle crash within about two miles of each other Thursday, and within a span of about nine hours. The other three-vehicle crash left happened just before 7 a.m. and left one driver injured.
