3-year-old taken to hospital after shooting near 64th and Bradley

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a non-fatal shooting on Sunday, Nov. 17. 

It happened around 5:55 p.m. near 64th and Bradley. 

The victim, a 3-year-old, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. The shooting is under investigation, but it is believed to be accidental, according to police. 

A 28-year-old was taken into custody and charges are pending.

4-year-old died after a shooting in February near the same area. 

The Milwaukee Police Department would like to remind gun owners to store firearms safely by utilizing gun locks or securing firearms in a safe.
