Man charged in hit-and-run that killed Watertown father of 3
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Fifteen-year-old Davion Patterson was killed, and five others are hurt, after a mass shooting near 14th St. and Concordia Avenue on Milwaukee's north side.
Milwaukee police say the shooting happened at about 11:30 p.m. Monday night.
Police say the 15-year-old boy died at the scene.
MPD also says five women, ages 18, 21, 19, and two 22-year-olds, were all taken to the hospital for non-fatal injuries.
MPD says they are looking for unknown suspects and are investigating what lead up to the shooting.
CBS 58 reached out to the Office of Violence Prevention multiple times to see what they are doing right now to secure the safety of young Milwaukeeans. The director, Ashanti Hamilton, has yet to call back.
So far this year, there have been 29 firearm related homicides and 35 teens between the ages of 11 to 19 have been victims of gun violence.
