15-year-old Milwaukee boy among 3 injured in overnight shootings

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Two people were hospitalized and a man was grazed by a bullet in overnight shootings Sunday, Sept. 26 to Monday, Sept. 27.

Milwaukee police are investigating two separate shootings. The first happened around 1:36 a.m. near 37th and Congress St.  The victim is a 15-year-old boy from Milwaukee. He suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation. Milwaukee Police continue to seek an unknown suspect at this time. 

Milwaukee police are also investigating a double shooting that occurred at approximately 1:52 a.m. near Broadway and E Wisconsin Ave. A 23-year-old Milwaukee man suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital by the Milwaukee Fire Department.  A 23-year-old man from Milwaukee suffered a minor graze wound and was treated on scene.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting appear to be argument related. Milwaukee police continue to seek an unknown suspect at this time.
