16-year-old boy killed in shooting near 21st and Lloyd

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The deceased has been identified as 16-year-old Travontae Greene.
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that killed a 16-year-old boy Monday, Aug. 5.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. near 21st and Lloyd. Police say the victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment but was pronounced deceased, despite life saving measures being taken.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation. Milwaukee police continue to seek unknown suspects.
