2 sentenced in death of 5-year-old near 29th and National

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- UPDATE: Bryan Jaensch was sentenced to four years in prison, and four years of extended supervision on Friday, Dec. 1.

Jose Gonzalez was sentenced to six years in prison in October. 

Charges have now been filed against two men in connection to the death of a 5-year-old boy on Milwaukee's south side.

59-year-old Bryan Jaensch and 34-year-old Jose Gonzalez are both charged with felony child neglect -- leading to death.

The criminal complaint says the two men left a loaded 40-caliber handgun accessible to the child in February near 29th and National.

5-year-old Eijo Gonzalez found the gun and shot and killed himself.
