This is the 6th driest start to the year on record

CBS 58

Last night through the morning many areas picked up a trace to a quarter of an inch of precipitation.  Unfortunately, that's not enough as the start of the year has been well below normal on precipitation.

This is the 6th driest start to the year on record!  This time last year Milwaukee had already recorded almost 4 inches of precipitation.  2025 is over 2 inches below normal.

Meteorological Spring begins on Saturday.  The Spring outlook from the Climate Prediction Center is a positive one for southeastern Wisconsin.  Our area is forecast to have above normal chances for precipitation for March, April, and May!
