Meet CBS 58’s Pet of the Week: Bunilla
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department executed a search warrant that led to the rescue of 27 dogs as well as some exotic animals in Milwaukee.
The search warrant was executed at around 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10 regarding an animal cruelty investigation near W. Hadley and N. 9th St.
During the investigation, the 27 dogs were rescued, along with what MPD describes as " ... a significant number of exotic animals which included alligators, snakes, ducks and many other types of animals."
A 46-year-old Milwaukee man was taken into custody, while the investigation remains ongoing.
Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
