3 injured in two unrelated shootings in Milwaukee on July 29

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are currently investigating two unrelated shooting incidents that happened Wednesday, July 29.

According to officials, the first occurred around 8:45 p.m. near 20th and Meinecke. A 32-year-old and 46-year-old Milwaukee man and 46-year-old Milwaukee man both sustained non-life threatening gunshot wounds. Police say the incident is the result of a robbery. They are both being treated at a local hospital. No suspects have been arrested.

Police say the second incident occurred at 9 p.m. near Acacia and Landers. A 38-year-old Milwaukee woman sustained serious injuries, but officials say she is expected to survive and is being treated at a local hospital. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation and no arrests have been made.
