Horlick High School students take learning to new heights
WATERTOWN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 35-year-old man is dead after he was hit by a pickup truck and dragged through multiple blocks in downtown Watertown overnight on Sunday, Dec. 21.
Watertown police say the incident happened at around 12:40 a.m. in the 500 block of E. Main Street, before ending in the 200 block of E. Main Street.
Officers say the 35-year-old man died as a result of injuries.
Police say the registered owner of the vehicle involved in the crash, a 54-year-old man, was later found at his home. He has been arrested and charged with Homicide by Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle and Hit and Run Causing Death.
On social media, people shared condolences for the family who lost a loved one in the crash. Unverified reports online say the man killed was a husband and father of three.
Police say the case remains active and open.
