50/50 weekend on the way across southeast Wisconsin

The light wintry mix has come to an end, and dry conditions are expected for the rest of your Friday. However, the dry weather won't last for long as another system is looming to the west.

Waves of showers look likely on Saturday, with the most widespread rain expected in the morning.

Showers will become more spotty in nature during the afternoon and evening before coming to an end at night with the passage of a cold front.

The rain will be fairly light, with .10-.25" expected for most of the area.

Sunshine will return on Sunday, but it will be a windy day with gusts over 30 mph likely throughout much of the day.

Highs will top out in upper 40s to low 50s this weekend, but a breezy southerly wind will boost temps back into the low 60s on Monday.
