WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Everyone is Greek this weekend, according to the Parishioners at Annunciation Parish Greek Orthodox Church.

For the 60th year, they're hosting Greek Fest. It started as a small church picnic near the church, and it's since grown to an event that serves thousands of orders of chicken, saganaki and baklava.

"One of the biggest phrases in Greek culture is 'Philoxenia,' which is love for the stranger," said Greg Papachristou, the council president. "And if you've been in any Greek's home, I guarantee you they've welcomed you in with open arms, been hospitable, they've sat you down, fed you, and not let you leave until you're completely satisfied. And that's how we feel welcoming the entire community to our festival. We want to bring you in, fill you up, let you enjoy our faith and our culture."

If you can't stay to check out the cultural area and the marketplace, they also offer a drive-thru for some of the popular foods.

"It started as just a chicken drive-thru, but because of popular demand and ease, we've expanded it to include our gyros, our pastries, our chicken, our lamb, our dinners."

Greek Fest runs 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
