80-year-old man dead, 2 others injured following crash in Sheboygan County

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office has identified the 80-year-old man who died following a two-vehicle crash in the Town of Plymouth.
Officials say the two-vehicle crash happened during the afternoon of Friday, Aug. 1, on State Highway 23, at Pleasant View Road.
The preliminary investigation says a vehicle, driven by an 82-year-old woman from Elkhart Lake, attempted to turn south on Pleasant View Road and struck another vehicle, driven by a 45-year-old man from Greenbush.
The sheriff's office says the 80-year-old passenger of the turning vehicle died after being transported to the hospital. He was identified as Stephen Gould out of Elkhart Lake.
The 45-year-old and 82-year-old were taken to the hospital and expected to survive.
It was determined by officials that the 82-year-old driver failed to yield to oncoming traffic while turning.
The investigation remains ongoing.
