RACINE, WI (CBS 58) -- Big changes are underway at one of the Midwest’s largest marinas. Reefpoint Marina has embarked on a $32 million revitalization project that will modernize the lakefront destination and position Racine as a premier stop for boaters on Lake Michigan.

Modern Upgrades on the Water

The multi-year effort includes the replacement of all docks with new floating docks, built to improve stability and withstand changing lake conditions. Utilities are also getting a major boost, with the installation of 50A/100A power pedestals and slip-side pump-outs to make life easier for boaters.

New Amenities for Boaters and Visitors

Beyond the technical upgrades, Reefpoint is adding features designed for comfort and community. Highlights include:

  • Floating party patios

  • A brand-new, high-speed fuel dock

  • 24/7 boater support

These additions build on the marina’s existing amenities, such as an outdoor heated pool, hot tubs, and the popular Reefpoint Brew House, all within walking distance of Racine’s vibrant downtown.

Boosting Racine as a Destination

The revitalization isn’t just about improving the boating experience. It’s also about putting Racine on the map as a top destination along Lake Michigan, attracting both slip holders and visitors looking for a resort-style waterfront experience.

Reefpoint Marina’s transformation reflects a growing investment in the city’s lakefront, blending modern convenience with unique community appeal.
