Milwaukee Admirals offer free Summerfest tickets for 2,500 fans

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The first 2,500 Admirals fans to buy tickets to Friday's game will get a free ticket to Summerfest.

CBS 58 caught up with Jon Greenberg, the Admirals President Tuesday morning.

It's the team's last regular game of the season before the playoffs. The Admirals will play the Rockford Icehogs on Friday at 7 p.m.

"It's make up game from December that was cancelled due to COVID. So, this is now our last regular season game at Panther Arena."

Greenberg says this game is all about playoff positioning.

"We really need a big crowd here and the first 2,500 fans here on Friday night will get a Summerfest ticket. It will hopefully propel us into the playoffs, which we have already qualified for but we're just trying to figure out where we stand."

If you haven't been to an Admirals game, Greenberg says you'd be impressed.

"You will hopefully see future superstars playing here against Rockford Friday night. It's been wonderful to be able to get through the season and get people back to together. And our crowds have been so enthusiastic. You can sense they're enjoying being back here again.

The Admirals also have a deal Friday where fans can get an Ads ticket and a ticket to the Wisconsin State Fair for $19.
