THIENSVILLE, Wis. (CBS 58 -- We're in that window -- everyone seems to have the urge to plant flowers between Mother's Day and Memorial Day. But "Brush and Blooms" owner Jessie Schoessow says you have to really be deliberate as to what you're planting.
She says any kind of tropical plants should wait until the end of May. The heartier annuals and perennials can be planted now. She also advises to make sure you have the right kind of soil and feed for your flowers as well. She says the folks at her garden center are more than willing to assist.
