MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--A fresh new blanket of snow is on the ground to start the weekend. Most of us saw between 1 and 2 inches of snowfall as expected. Now the focus is on a nice warmup, lots of melting, and eventually rain to start the new work week. Highs the next few days will be between 35 and 40 degrees.
Our next weather maker will bring up much milder air from the south. Expect rain, some moderate to heavy, for most of us although a wintry mix is possible across the northern tier to start our Monday. Rainfall amounts could be well above an inch in some areas Then another batch of wintry mix is possible to get us into Wednesday.
