MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--After being water-logged at least for some, we get to take a breather for a while. With the exception of a few lakeside showers on Sunday, the forecast looks dry for at least the entire work week if not the upcoming weekend. The one big issue we have to contend with on Sunday and Monday will be a high swim risk on Lake Michigan, especially Milwaukee County points south. There's also a Small Craft Advisory in place. We could see 3 to 5 foot waves. Rip currents are also possible. Northerly winds will stay brisk through the period. Basically, try to stay off the water.
For the first part of the week, expect highs to stay in the 70s. We won't get into the 80s by the end of the week and weekend. Obviously the humidity will build as well, making it feel more like the Dog Days of Summer.
