Amtrak cancels handful of trains out of Milwaukee due to extremely low temperatures

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The bitter cold may have an impact on your travel plans. 

Amtrak has canceled a few of their lines that criss cross parts of the Midwest. That includes the Hiawatha and Borealis lines that connect Milwaukee to Chicago and the Twin Cities.

Not all trains on those lines are canceled. Click here to see the list of cancelations or delays. 

They expect to return to full service on Thursday.
