We have had a few rounds of light precipitation the last few days with both rain and snow falling. Another round of light snow rolled in Sunday morning with 1-3" west and north of the Milwaukee/Waukesha metro area but Milwaukee just getting rain. So far this season we are just a bit above average on snow with 4.4" falling this season.
Our next round of precipitation will bring in another chance for snow. Some snow showers are expected to roll in after midnight Monday night through Tuesday morning. Most of this will just fall as snow but some rain may mix in if the precipitation lingers into the early afternoon lakeside.
The Tuesday morning ride into work and school will be impacted by this with some light snow falling. Most places don't pick up much snow with a dusting to a tenth of an inch but some isolated hometowns could get a half or full inch of snow, mostly on grass. Main roads will just stay wet but watch for slick spots on side roads.
Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather app to track the next round of snow.
