MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a fatal fire that occurred Saturday morning, Dec. 4, near 32nd and Walnut.
Police say the fire happened around 3:45 a.m. Saturday.
Officials report that early Saturday morning a tenant heard the fire alarm, observed smoke and called 911.
The Milwaukee Fire Department reportedly responded and found a victim in a second-floor bedroom.
Authorities say that all other occupants of the residence were safely evacuated.
Police indicate that the cause of the fire is currently undetermined and not deemed suspicious at this time.
