MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- B93.3 is now playing wall-to-wall Christmas music. The countdown began first thing Thursday morning with the help of CBS 58. Joe Krauss from Feel Good Mornings with Joe played "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" to kick it off. But not until the button was pushed by the Dancing Grannies.

It may be early for some, but Krauss says it's what a lot of people have asked for.

"The people who really want it are passionate, a lot of them have the Christmas villages up. They've decorated their houses, their cubicles and we love to see people get excited about that kind of music here in Milwaukee," said Krauss.

While some of the Dancing Grannies were in the studio helping Joe with the switch, the others were at Deer District, which has been fittingly renamed Cheer District for the season, dancing to Jingle Bell Rock.

"We're ready for Christmas. I can't tell you how much fun it is to do the parades, and perform and interacting with the crowds," said Jan Kwiatkowski on of the Dancing grannies.

You can hear all of the classics, the new and the funny holiday songs on B93.3 this season. But even when songs aren't playing, you can expect Joe and other DJs to bring their own holiday cheer.

"Christmas memories, we talk about Christmas food and everything in Milwaukee for the Christmas holiday season," said Krauss.
