COLUMBIA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A $35,000 bail has been set for the man accused of driving a semi while under the influence and hitting a school bus carrying students from a Milwaukee area school.
42-year-old Wayne Murphy from Indianapolis appeared in court via video from the Columbia County Jail Friday. Prosecutors say blood tests show he had opioids in his system while driving the truck.
Murphy was arrested last week after crashing a semi into a bus full of students stopped on the side of the interstate.
26 people were hurt in the crash.
A preliminary hearing is set for June 7.
