Blood pressure medication recalled after cancer-causing chemicals detected

(CBS 58) -- A blood pressure medication is being recalled after trace amounts of a cancer-causing chemical were detected. 

The FDA says some Valsartan tablets are being recalled. The agency says patients should not stop taking the medication as that could lead to greater risk, but instead to talk to their doctor about other treatment options.
