MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Brewers are gearing up to open a four-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals as part of their longest homestand of the season. Mike Cosentino, senior vice president of ticket sales and service, joined us Thursday, June 12 to preview the lineup of events at American Family Field.
Pride Night takes place Thursday during the 6:40 p.m. game and includes music, vendors and community fun.
Saturday’s matchup features Tropical Night, with fans who purchase a theme night ticket receiving a Brewers straw hat. A tropical tailgate behind centerfield will include steel drum music, shuffleboard, trivia and photo stations.
Also on Saturday, the club will commemorate the 250th birthday of the U.S. Army with performances by military bands, a helicopter flyover and a ceremonial first pitch by Gen. Andrew P. Poppas.
The homestand concludes Sunday, June 15 with a Barrelman Cooler giveaway to the first 10,000 fans 21 and older.
