Meet CBS 58’s Pet of the Week: No Tail
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- In what was a pretty successful year for the Milwaukee Brewers, the same can be said for the team's charitable arm.
The Brewers Community Foundation just released new data from their 2024 campaign.
Over the year, the foundation raised over $4.5 million through different events and initiatives. They also contributed to roughly 200 charities across the state of Wisconsin.
"We view ourselves as part of the fabric of this community, so we wanna give back," said Cecelia Gore, Brewers Community Foundation executive director. "We wanna make sure that people are healthy -- healthy fans equal happy fans in seats, and we wanna be strong corporate citizens."
The $4.5 million mark eclipses the BCF's total from last year, when they helped raise $4.2 million for charitable causes across Wisconsin.
