First cold weather advisory of the season has been issued!
BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The City of Brookfield Police responded to the Pick 'n Save store located at 12735 W. Capitol Drive for a report of an armed robbery which occurred in the parking lot.
The victim told police she returned to her vehicle, a silver 2008 Acura, and shortly after sitting down a suspect pointed a "large black gun" at her and demanded that she get out of the vehicles but leave her keys behind.
The victim said when she exited her vehicle, she saw a silver or white four-door sedan occupied by three men. Both vehicles fled eastbound on Capitol Drive at a high rate of speed.
On Monday evening, police were in the area of 108th and Hampton and believed they saw the stolen Acura. The Acura fled from police eastbound on Mill Road from N. 107th Street. Stop sticks were successfully deployed in the Acura eventually came to a stop.
Multiple suspects fled from the car. Officers set up a perimeter and located and arrested one suspect.
The investigation remains ongoing.
