Brown Deer to celebrate 6th annual Eat & Greet on the Street June 1

BROWN DEER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- -On Saturday June 1, 2019 Brown Deer will be celebrating the 6th annual Eat & Greet on the Street in the Original Village. This family-friendly event will include kid activities, live music, and food.

The main stage will include the following:
2:00 Open Mic
3:00 Charles Walker Band
6:00 Brown Deer Elementary Choir & High School Jazz Band
8:00 The Love Monkeys

A few of this year’s vendors include: Jean’s Clay Studio, Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control, Brown Deer Farmer’s Market, Respect Our Waters, Brown Deer Booster Club, Brown Deer Library, Young Living Essential Oils, Goody Gourmet, Kooky Kanner, Rockin’ Jump, Summerfest, RE/MAX, Smart Cookie Vegan, Henna by Katie, and Jingles African Design.

Free family friendly activities include a huge inflatable obstacle course, reptiles from Schlitz Audubon, craft activities & games from Trinity Community Church and Abiding Savior Lutheran Church. Crawl through the speleo caves, and then dunk a high school student or teacher at the dunk tank! There will also be members of the 501st Legion-WI Garrison attending our event and available for pictures. The North Shore Fire/ Rescue will be on site so take a seat in the fire truck or practice extinguishing fake fires with a fire hose!
