MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Here's a question for hometown sports fans. Would Milwaukee support a professional women's basketball team?
We have confirmed that the Milwaukee Bucks ownership group has submitted a proposal for a WNBA franchise in Milwaukee.
Right now, the WNBA has teams in 12 cities, with an expansion team set to start play next year in the bay area.
