MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The future of a Milwaukee park is up for discussion as county officials say budget shortfalls and staff shortages are leading to the closing of some of its popular amenities.

Neighbors say they are disappointed with the county's decision.

One man even created this Halloween display.

He says the course was home to a family golf tournament every Fourth of July.

"Oh, people were very disappointed. We’ve had a lot of people come by and kind of comment because we symbolically buried the golf course here and they said it was a shame and they were disappointed that that’s happened.

We have reached out to the county supervisor for comment, butt have not heard back.
